Development of training programs
During the workshop, after determining the needs of the employers, the job description of the positions waiting to be filled in the special working conditions, the professional competences and the eligibility requirements were determined.
The experts developed the competences that can be acquired during the training program based on the operation of the procured machinery and equipment, knowledge of the processing industry technology as well as practical experience and proficiency in the industry. The competences were developed according to the criteria and recommended training program template defined by the current Adult Education Act. With the guidance of the adult education experts, training programs ensuring the acquisition of the skills required for the job position were defined in the following 3 specialization fields:
• Processing and use of industrial hemp in the textile industry
• Procesing and use of industrial hemp in the construction industry
• Processing and use of industrial hemp seed
1. 'Hemp industry worker' - The purpose of the industrial hemp processing and use in the textile industry training program is:
By completing the training program, the participant will be able to perform the primary processing of industrial hemp for the textile industry and to perform the related work processes. Participation in the training requires basic education, i.e. 8 classes of elementary school.
Detailed contents of the training program:
• Occupational, fire and environmental protection regulations for machinery operation.
• Occupational and health protection during the processing of industrial hemp for the textile industry.
• Compliance with occupational health and safety rules and the correct use of tools, avoiding accidents, use of uniforms and protective clothing.
• The cultivation technology of industrial hemp, the determination of the optimal harvest time, the production of a raw material of appropriate quality.
• Aspects of determining storage capacity.
• The use and maintenance of basic tools for the primary processing of fiber plants.
• The operating principle, use and maintenance of the decorticating equipment.
• The operating principle, use and servicing of the drum sieve.
• The process and stages of the retting procedure.
• The process and stages of the drying procedure.
• The operating principle, use and servicing of the willowing machine.
• The work process of packaging and storage.

By completing the training program, the participant will get to know the tools, equipment and industrial technology of processing industrial hemp seed.
Participation in the training requires basic education, i.e. 8 classes of elementary school.

• Understanding and applying the occupational, fire and environmental protection regulations for machinery operation.
• Occupational and health protection during the processing of industrial hemp. Compliance with occupational health and safety rules and the correct use of tools, avoiding accidents, use of uniforms and protective clothing. Understanding and using the basic equipment and tools for the primary processing of the production zone.
• Understanding the operating principle of the dryer, the professional use and maintenance of the equipment.
• Uderstanding the operating principle of the edible seed cleaner, the professional use and maintenance of the equipment.
• Understanding the operating principle of the dehulling machine, the professional use and maintenance of the equipment.
• Understanding the operating principle of the edible seed processor, the professional use and maintenance of the equipment.
• Understanding the operating principle of a packaging plant and labelling machine, the professional use and maintenance of the equipment.
• Understanding the utilization areas of industrial hemp seed, market opportunities and the elements of customer information.
With the aid of the prospective employers participating in the development of the training programs, i.e. the investor implementers of the project, the personal and material conditions of the practice-oriented training have been determined. Moreover, the uniforms and protective clothing for each position, the process of recruitment, the date of contact with the target group, the scheduling of information days, the time frame of educational organization tasks and the schedule for the production of the promotional film have also been set.
